Highways bosses have been forced to close a road after a "disgusting" amount of fly-tipping was dumped in a quiet country lane.

Sofas, chairs, TVs and fridges are among the household items left strewn across Lenacre Street near Kennington in Ashford.

Shocked resident Teresa Morgan says "enormous piles" of waste have been dumped.
