Computer generated image released of "Eastern European" suspect in Jemmet Road, Ashford, assault on May 18

Assault suspect

An image of an Eastern European man wanted for questioning over an alleged assault on a middle aged man has been released by police.

This computer generated image (pictured right) depicts the suspect, who is described as being of Eastern European appearance, aged 25 to 30 years old, and was wearing a red baseball cap with a figure on it and a red hooded top with white writing on it.

The suspect is said to have assaulted a man aged in his 50s, who was walking along Jemmett Road, opposite Victoria Park in Ashford, between midnight and 12.30am on Saturday, May 18.

Police would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the assault, or anyone who can identify the suspect or may have seen a man matching his description.
