Emergency crews rushed to Faversham Road, in Kennington, this morning after a three-car collision.

A woman was treated at the scene by paramedics but it is not yet known how serious her injuries are.

One witness said the crash involved a silver Citreon, a silver Vauxhall Astra and a White Dacia.

Mum Rebecca Butcher had been on the school run to Kennington School when she saw the smash.

She said: "It was like slow motion and then there was an almighty bang and the Citreon ended up on the opposite side of road and nearly hit a tree. It looked really bad."
