Part of Hothfield Brain Injury Rehabilitation Centre in Ashford evacuated after fire

A rehabilitation centre has been partially evacuated after a fire.
Crews were called to Hothfield Brain Injury Rehabilitation Centre in Fridd Lane in Ashford just after 6pm.
The blaze broke out in a second floor bedroom leading to part of the building being evacuated.
The centre is a specialist centre for adults with brain injuries or other complex neurological conditions.
Firefighters assisted staff at the facility to help residents with welfare and emotional support after dealing with the blaze.
The call ended at 7.55pm.
