Four people taken to hospital after car hits telegraph pole in Pluckley

Four people were injured after their car hit a telegraph pole.

Emergency services were at Stanford Bridge Road in Pluckley just after 10.20pm on Saturday.

Emergency services were called to an accident on a village road on Saturday night

Paramedics and fire crews assessed the people inside the car to work out the extent of their injuries.

Firefighters later used hydraulic cutting gear to reach the two men and two women.

A Kent Fire and Rescue spokesman said: "They were carefully transferred into the care of SECAmb paramedics and taken to hospital.

"Firefighters worked with Open Reach engineers and made the scene safe."

Crews left just after 11.30pm.
