Woman arrested after goods worth more than £2,000 allegedly stole from Ashford Designer Outlet

A woman has been arrested after reports of goods worth more than £2,000 being stolen at a shopping centre.

Police were called to the McArthurGlen Designer Outlet in Ashford by suspicious security staff earlier today.

A suspect was arrested and products suspected to be stolen were recovered from a vehicle which was subsequently seized.

Police say inquiries are ongoing while the suspected thief remains in custody.
