Police are growing concerned for a missing teenager who could be in Ashford.

Jacob Stanley, 16, from Rye, was last seen on Friday afternoon when he left his home in the town.

He did not return home and his parents reported him missing.

Wai Lee, missing person co-odiator for Sussex Police, said: "Jacob attends college in Ashford in Kent and travels on the train to get there.

"We are appealing to anyone who has seen him in the Rye or Ashford area.

"He is white, 5' 6" with short, straight light brown hair and long sideburns.

"He has his left ear pierced and was last seen wearing a black parka style coat and black jogging trousers."
