Ashford School, in East Hill suffers cyber-attack as head teacher makes jokey Sony comparison

Ashford School's website suffered from a cyber attack today.

The site went down this morning, announced on Twitter by head teacher Mike Buchanan, who joked that the school must be as important as Sony to be cyber attacked.

It affected users who browsed the site containing information to prospective and current parents and students.

Ashford School’s site has around 5,000 views a month from users across the world.

The school's website was back online and running as normal just after 4pm.

Ashford School is an independent school for both boys and girls, aged 0 to 18 years.
