Air ambulance lands in Pluckley after horseriding accident.

A woman has been flown to a London hospital after a horse riding accident this afternoon.

The air ambulance landed in a field near the junction of Smarden Bell Road and Green Hill Lane, in Pluckley, at 12.32pm

The woman was flown to Kings College Hospital with abdomen injuries after the 'sport and leisure accident.'

The extent of her injuries is not yet known.

A spokesman for the air ambulance confirmed it was a horse riding accident but was unable to give any further details.

The road by Frith Corner is currently closed.
