Immigration Enforcement officers have carried out a raid on a shopping centre.

Three Home Office vehicles remain at the Ashford Designer Outlet, with centre management believed to be speaking with the enforcers.

A spokesman for the outlet, which is currently being expanded, said: "Immigration enforcement officers attended McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Ashford this morning to carry out a routine right-to-work document check of site workers.
