Two Immigration Enforcement vehicles spotted in Ashford town centre

Immigration officials have swooped on a town centre.

Fully-staffed Immigration Enforcement vehicles have been seen in Ashford.

The van and support vehicle were spotted soon after 9am by Park Mall, leaving after about 15 minutes.

Two Immigration Enforcement vehicles are currently parked in the town centre. (9074870)

Twenty minutes later, they returned to the town centre - this time parked by the First World War tank in St George's Square.

The Home Office, of which Immigration Enforcement is a division, has been contacted about the ongoing operation.
