ALLEGATIONS that a police officer indecently assaulted a cleaner are being investigated.

The officer has been transferred to another post while the claim is probed.

It is understood he was working at Ashford International Station earlier this month when the incident was alleged to have taken place in an interview room.

National newspaper reports suggested this week, that the officer was part of a two-man Special Branch team looking for terrorists at the Channel Tunnel terminal.
