Armed police officers descended on an industrial estate in Ashford last night following a gun scare.
Police were called to Henwood Industrial Estate last night at 7.49pm to a report of a man who was thought to have been in possession of a firearm.
Eyewitnesses took to social media, who reported seeing at least four police cars and officers armed with rifles in the area.
Armed officers visited the scene off of Mace Lane "to ensure the safety of members of the public".
But after locating the man, it was established that the item he was carrying was in fact a pool cue in a case.
No arrests were made.
