Ashford's Leon Camier returns to home turf this weekend when Silverstone hosts the British round of the World Superbike Championship.
The Aprilia Alitalia Racing Team rider, who is sixth in the standings with 134 points, will be battling it out for the honour of top Brit at the redesigned circuit alongside Leon Haslam, Tom Sykes, James Toseland, Jonathan Rea and Alex Lowes.
Camier (pictured), who claimed a third-place podium finish at the Northamptonshire venue last year, said: "Silverstone has always been one of my favourite circuits as it’s fast and flowing and has plenty of overtaking opportunities.
"I’ve had my fair share of races where I’ve had to fight my way through the field, probably one of the most memorable being at Silverstone last year.
"Going from 16th to stand on an all-British podium was something I’ll never forget – the crowd was amazing and the support I had was unreal.
"I’m looking forward to getting out there and seeing all the new additions. The Silverstone Wing pit and paddock complex looks awesome."
