Long queues of traffic built up on the M20 following a crash.

Motorists travelling coastbound between Junction 9 and Junction 10 for Ashford were brought to a stop earlier today following a collision on the carriageway.

The emergency services were in attendance, as well as National Highways who had to assess damage to a barrier.

Traffic has now been released, with all lanes open.
