The A20 remained closed for several hours after a crash.

Ashford Road was shut in both directions yesterday, between Cooper's Lane and Station Road, near Sellindge, following the collision involving a lorry and a van.

KCC Highways advised motorists to expect delays in the surrounding areas and to use alternative routes where possible.
