A lucky kmfm listener started their weekend by winning £1,000 on the radio station’s competition Thousand Pound Friday.

Carol Jasper from Willesborough joined thousands of others who entered via text or online between Thursday at 6pm and today to be October’s winner.

She had been listening since 7.30am while painting her kitchen and is on a mission to revamp the whole house.

Carol plans to spend her winning money on more paint and accessories to finish decorating the rest of her home.

This weekend it’s a Halloween Weekender on kmfm where you could play Trick or Treat and win prizes on air.
