Traffic held on coastbound M20 after man found on carriageway in Ashford

Traffic was held on the M20 after a man was found on the carriageway.

Emergency services were called to the coastbound stretch near Junction 10 for Ashford just before 11.30am.

A man was found on the carriageway close to Junction 10 of the coastbound M20

Police found the man walking in the carriageway and helped bring him to safety.

The exit slip road for the junction was also closed while officers aided the pedestrian.

Thankfully, the man was not injured and was placed safely into the care of paramedics.

The motorway has now fully reopened.
