A man has been arrested after reports two people were punched in the face in a fit of 'road rage'.

The incident, in which a man and a woman were allegedly assaulted, took place in Hythe Road in Willesborough, Ashford on November 30 at around 1.08pm.

Officers arrested a 25-year-old from Ashford in connection with the assault at 11.30am today.

The arrested man is currently in police custody.
