A man has been arrested for allegedly exposing himself in public.

Police were called to the Ashford International Station at 12.51pm this afternoon.

It was reported that a man had acted indecently in front of other passengers while travelling on a train.

The incident is now being investigated by the British Transport Police.

A British Transport Police spokesman said: “BTP officers were called to Ashford International railway station on Wednesday, April 23 after a report of a man masturbating on a train.

“Officers from Kent Police also attended and arrested a man on suspicion of indecent exposure.

“Enquiries are ongoing.”
