A man climbed a lighting gantry at Ashford International station and refused to come down earlier today.

Police observed the man who climbed the tower, which is near the domestic section of the station. Paramedics were also at the scene.

There were no delays to train services.

The man was eventually coaxed down, and police left the scene at around 6pm.
