A man has died unexpectedly, sparking a wave of tributes.

News of the death of Ollie Bloomsmar, from Wittersham near Ashford, spread this week.

Many have been left reeling by the 29-year-old's death, leading to heartfelt tributes on social media.

A former student at Homewood School in Tenterden, one memorial post reads: "You was there for me on my first day at Homewood and always had my back since then.

"I never really connect with people but you I really did you really were a true friend of mine and I thank you for the friendship, the memories and putting up with me."

The cause of death is not yet known.
