Man's body found in Etchden Wood, Great Chart, Ashford

A man's body has been found in woodland near Ashford.

Police were called to Etchden Wood just outside Great Chart after the man in his 40s was found dead.

Four police cars were spotted in Park Lane

Four police cars were spotted in Park Lane at 12pm on Friday.

One of the vehicles was parked at the entrance to a private track leading into the wood, which is about four miles west of Ashford between Great Chart and Bethersden.

Ambulance crews joined officers at the scene and the death is not being treated as suspicious.

Police say a report will be prepared for the coroner.
