Man sought after attack on Ashford High Street left victim with head injury

Police are looking a man after a vicious High Street attack which left another in hospital.

The incident is reported to have taken place in the Ashford High Street and saw two men assault a third person.

The victim, a man in his 40s, sustained a head injury which required treatment at the William Harvey Hospital.

The incident happened on 1am Wednesday, September 9.

One suspect, 43-year-old Leigh Shilling, has already been charged with actual bodily harm and possessing an offensive weapon.

The charge was authorised on September 11 and the Hythe Road resident has been remanded in custody since.

He is due to appear at Canterbury Crown Court today.
