Police arrested a 33-year-old man shortly after the incident and have released him under investigation.

The crash was one of three accidents to happen at the same junction in an eight-day period, speaking calls for a safety review by concerned residents.

But Kent County Council said the accidents were down to “driver behaviour” rather than the safety of the road.
