Man suffers head injury during a fall in Whitfield Road, South Ashford

Two men were taken to the William Harvey Hospital this morning following two separate incidents in Ashford.

At 8.20am, two ambulances, one paramedic car and the Kent, Surrey & Sussex Air Ambulance were all called to Whitfield Road, in South Ashford, to a report that a man in his 20s had suffered a fit on the pavement.

A 26-year-old man collapsed and suffered a head injury during the fall. He was taken by road ambulance, assisted by crews from the air ambulance, to the William Harvey for further treatment.

In a separate incident, one ambulance was called to Faversham Road, in Kennington at around 9.30am to a report that a man in his 30s had come off his bike near the junction of George Williams Way.

He was treated for a potential collar bone, back and arm injury and taken to the William Harvey Hospital.
