Three men have been released without charge after armed police swooped on a home.

Six officers were seen entering a house in Godinton Road, Ashford, following reports of “threats being made” on Saturday.

Following the dramatic raid, three men were arrested at the scene and an investigation has since been carried out by police.

The incident forced officers to close Godinton Road, between the junctions for James Street and Western Avenue.

Residents say drones were flying overhead and police dogs were brought in as armed police targeted the property.
