Highland cattle are grazing again at Hothfield Common.

The large cattle have been feeding on fern as conservators seek to keep scrubland clear.

The creatures have previously been used in a similar way at The Warren in Ashford.

Highland cattle have been introduced at Hothfield Commons (1256232)

The distinctive cattle, with their large horns, became somewhat of a tourist attraction at this site with walkers and visitors taking and then sharing pictures of them in the woodland setting.
