A motorcyclist suffered serious injuries in a crash with a car this morning.

The air ambulance was called to Bad Munstereifel Road in Ashford following reports of the incident at 11.47am.

Police officers also attended the scene and the road remains closed.

The motorcyclist was taken to hospital in London and in a serious condition.
