A motorway was briefly shut today following concerns for a man’s welfare.
The M20 in Ashford, between junctions nine and 10, was closed in both directions for about five minutes this morning.
It followed a welfare concern on the A28 motorway bridge just after 9am.
Police were called and a man was passed into the care of healthcare professionals.
A spokesman for the force added: “We were called to Canterbury Road, Ashford at 9.08am today following concern for a man in the area.
“Officers attended and the man was located and passed into the care of healthcare professionals.”
