Two lanes of the M20 were closed following a multi-car crash.

Traffic is piling up on the coastbound carriageway near Ashford following the accident which took place at about 5pm between J10A and J11.

A police spokesman said: "This was reported to us at 5pm. It involved four vehicles on the coastbound carriageway and was close to Junction 11.

"Officers and Highways are in attendance and there are no serious injuries. Temporary lane closures are in place whilst recovery of vehicles involved takes place."

All lanes were reopened just after 6pm.
