Mystery of Ashford's 'Roundabout Banksy'
Published: 13:20, 01 August 2017
Yet another mysterious sculpture has appeared on one of Ashford's busiest roundabouts.
The latest addition is on the Junction 9 roundabout and features a hare being teased by a carrot on a stick.
This comes after the first piece of art appeared last month on the Eureka Park roundabout of a man swimming away from three sharks.

However, up close both sculptures reveal hidden messages as they both feature stickers relating to the European Union and the UK, which has led people to believe it is about Brexit.
On the Eureka park sculpture the sharks chasing the swimmer all feature an EU sticker with 'GB' in the middle of the stars.
Then the hare on Junction 9 has the UK flag stuck onto it as it looks up to the carrot, which also has an EU flag on it.
So far, no one has come forward to claim ownership of either of the artworks or to explain the real messages behind them.
