The County Hotel in Ashford will not be offering food from 6pm today until Monday, November 25 at 10am.

A sign at the Lower High Street site reads: “Due to essential maintenance works our kitchen will be closed.

“No food will be available for this whole period. Sorry for any inconvenience caused.”

Elsewhere in the county, the UK’s largest Wetherspoon pub is about to get even bigger after bosses announced a £750,000 expansion.
