Fire crews were called to Boughton Aluph last night after flames from an out of control bonfire spread to a shed.
Firefighters attended the blaze in Friesan Way at 7.18pm and promptly extinguished the fire.
No one was reported as injured.
The fire is understood to have broke out after flames from a nearby bonfire spread to the wooden shed.
A spokesman for Kent Fire and Rescue said: "As always, we remind residents to please build fires in a clear area - away from fences and sheds.
"And please keep an eye on them."
