POLICE have launched an investigation after a teenager was shot with a pellet from a weapon fired from a passing car.

A 17-year-old victim was in Stanhope Road at Ashford when the incident occurred. He was not injured.

It is believed the shot came from a Silver Lexus with blacked-out windows.

As it passed the young man, the front passenger window was wound down. The victim saw a white, bald male, aged between 20-24, pointing a gun at him. Seconds later the pellet was released. The car then sped then off.
