The first images have emerged of flooding in Sellindge, between Ashford and Folkestone, as heavy rain continues to cause problems for motorists in the area.
There is a flood alert in place for the Ashford area as well as three other areas in Kent.
These images show the extent of the flooding in Sellindge.
Several roads in the rural area have been filled up with standing water that has been trapped by hedges on either side.
The water can be seen running into low-standing fields by the side of the roads.
The roads pictured are Broad Street, Monks Horton and the top of Swan Lane.
The AA advises motorists to seek alternative routes around flooded areas, and avoid driving through standing water if possible.
Drivers should also wait for approaching vehicles to pass by before attempting to drive through standing water, and should not drive into flood water that’s moving or more than 10cm (4 inches) deep.
Pedestrians have been advised to avoid walking along low-lying farmland or footpaths near the watercourses.
This is not the first time that the area has faced flooding problems recently, as homes in Folkestone were at risk of flooding earlier in the month.
The rain has been causing chaos across the county today, with fire crews having to rescue 10 people from a flooded road in Tonbridge.
River levels across Kent are expected to remain high for most of the day.
