Police are on the hunt for a man who threatened staff with a gun and stole money from an Ashford shop.
The armed raid took place at the Co-Op, in Faversham Road, just as the store was closing.
The man is reported to have pointed a handgun at a staff member and demanded money.
Cash was handed over - believed to be £140 - and the man left the store at around 10pm last Thursday.
Shortly afterwards a car was heard leaving the area at speed.
Police have today released a CCTV image of the wanted man in the hope someone will recognise him.
The man is described as 6ft, stocky and was wearing a dark padded jacket, white trainers and dark jogging bottoms.
A police spokesman said: "It is hoped that although the man's face cannot be seen, his distinctive padded jacket could provide a clue to his identity."
Witnesses or anyone with information is urged to phone DS Ian Watson on 01303 289088, quoting ZY/35417/13, or Kent Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
