Police are hunting for a pair of attackers who ran up behind a man and hit him in the face while he walked in a park.

The 46-year-old man was struck in the back of his head by two men in Victoria Park in Ashford between 9pm and 9.15pm on Tuesday.

The attack left him needing hospital treatment after suffering with injuries to his head and face.

Now officers are appealing for witnesses to track down the men, who were wearing dark jogging bottoms and dark jackets.
