The busy A2070 in Ashford that was closed in both directions this morning by police has now re-opened.

It was shut between the A259, near Brenzett, and the A2042, near Ashford, following a two-vehicle crash in the Ruckinge area.

Police attended and Highways England advised drivers to allow extra time for their journeys.

The teen was arrested yesterday.

Police said no one had been seriously hurt in the crash, which happened shortly before 1am.

A spokesman said: "No serious injuries have been reported but the road was closed for the vehicles to be recovered and the debris to be cleared."
