Hamstreet Road shut at Bromley Green Road and Hornash Lane junction in Shadoxhurst near Ashford after three-car crash

A road was shut after a three-car crash at a crossroads.

Police, fire and paramedics were called to Hamstreet Road in Shadoxhurst, near Ashford, just before 1.30pm.

It followed reports of a crash involving three cars at the junction for Bromley Green Road and Hornash Lane.

A spokesperson for the ambulance service said two people were treated at the scene and one was taken to the William Harvey Hospital.

Officers remained at the scene responding to the incident and closed the road for several hours.

The route is now open.
