Southern strike: RMT and ASLEF drivers in industrial action

Passengers are being advised not to travel during the two-day train drivers' strike, which starts today.
Unions RMT and ASLEF have joined forces in the dispute against Southern Rail over the introduction of driver-only trains.

A statement by Southern said: "There will be no Southern service on Tuesday 13, Wednesday 14, and Friday 16 December and you should not attempt to travel."
The latest strike dates are today and tomorrow, then again on Friday.
Then between Monday and Tuesday next week (December 19 and 20) there will be an RMT conductors' strike, before further strike dates announced for later in the month.
