Police are investigating reports a horde of yobs ransacked a high street supermarket.

According to online reports a group of up to 30 teens “stampeded” in the Tesco Express store in Ashford town centre, throwing food from the fridges and trashing the whole shop.

One customer was allegedly punched during the rampage while others stole beer from the shop.
