Ashford teenager charged with assaulting Tesco workers and police after reported theft

A teenager is due in court after allegedly throwing beer over shop workers and spitting at police during a robbery.

Beau Rusho'Gorman has been charged with four offences after an incident in Ashford on Wednesday.

Police were called to Tesco in Mill Court

During that evening, police were called to Tesco in Mill Court, after a report that cans of beer had been stolen.

Two members of staff reportedly had beer thrown over them during the incident.

Officers attended, and after conducting enquires arrested Mr Rusho'Gorman at a separate address.

The 18-year-old is then alleged to have spat at a police officer during his arrest.

Mr Rusho'Gorman, of Alfred Road, was charged with two counts of assault, shoplifting and assault of an emergency worker.

He was remanded in custody to appear at Folkestone Magistrates' Court today.
