TWO female members of staff were bundled into an office by two masked men during a robbery at a store on a Kent business park on Monday morning.

A police hunt is underway after the raid at Argos in Barrey Road on Ashford's Sevington Business Park at around 8.15am.

The women's ordeal began shortly after they arrived for work.

The offenders escaped the store with a quantity of cash and the women, who were not hurt, were then able to raise the alarm.

Both men are described as being in their mid to late 20s, Afro-Caribbean with London accents.

One was wearing dark jeans and grey trainers, a dark-blue top, a dark hat and a black scarf round his neck and mouth. He was carrying a black holdall.

The other man is described as being slightly shorter and heavier built. He was wearing a black plastic mask, dark-coloured jeans and black trainers.

The pair are thought to have fled the scene in a dark-grey vehicle.

Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them on 01303 289180 or Kent Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
