Bikes and tools worth £10,000 stolen from house in Singleton, Ashford

Around £10,000 worth of bikes and tools were stolen from a garage after a suspected burglary in Singleton.

Thieves made off with two valuable bikes, a drill and two grinders after breaking into the house in Marmion Way last Saturday between midnight and 11.30am.

A Santa Cruz Nomad C bike like this was stolen.

A 2014/15 ‘Santa Cruz Nomad C’ bike and a specialised ‘Camber Evo UK Edition’ cycle – one of only 20 ever made – were nicked from the garage.

Police are investigating burglary and released images of the valuable property in a bid to return them with their owner.

A drill and two grinders were stolen from a house in Marmion Way

Officers also issued crime reduction advice, including recommending residents lock up large machinery when not in use, record details of property, take photos of valuables, security mark property and register valuables on the National Property Database.

Anyone with information about who committed the burglary, or anyone who has information about the stolen property, is asked to contact Detective Sergeant David Cox on 07989 992050.
