Thousands of music lovers are expected in Ashford's Victoria Park this weekend for the 23rd Create Festival.
The line-up for the free event on Saturday includes rock, pop and folk acts, but will be headlined by DJ Jazzy Jeff, who was made famous in American sitcom The Fresh Prince of Bel Air.
The DJ, who was Will Smith's best friend in the show, will perform on the main stage from 7.50pm until 9pm.
An Ashford Borough Council (ABC) spokeswoman said: "DJ Jazzy Jeff has to be one of the most accomplished and influential hip-hop artists in the world.
"It is testimony to the growing success of Create and the amazing support we receive that we have been able to secure such a world-renowned artist."
The festival, which will feature four stages, will run from 11.45am to 9pm on Saturday.
Highlights are expected to include a 10-piece brass and drum band called Mama Brass, as well as DJ Moscat who will be performing drum and bass.
DJ Jazzy Jeff - an American record producer, actor and comedian - will close the festival on Saturdat night.
It will also feature a mix of food markets, bars, an outdoor theatre, arts and crafts and creative pyrotechnics.
Despite a threat of rain last year, 12,000 people attended the event.
Organisers have pledged to reduce plastic waste at this year’s festival to suppport ABC’s current recycling campaign.
A reusable cup scheme will be introduced and paper straws will be used rather than plastic.
The souvenir plastic cups will require a £1 deposit, but revellers will be able to keep them to remember the event.
