London-bound traffic on the M20 is moving again following a serious accident earlier between junctions 11 and 10.

The incident was reported just before 5pm and stopped all three lanes of traffic between the Hythe/Westenhanger turnoff and the Ashford South (William Harvey Hospital) turnoff.

But it's now being reported that all lanes have re-opened and the long queues which had formed are starting to ease.

One eye-witness told KentOnline that the Dover-bound carriageway had also been at a standstill for a while.

Traffic is probably heavier than normal as many people make their way home after being away for an Easter break or a day out.
