Traffic lights were out on a busy road in Ashford town centre for more than 24 hours.

The signals on New Street at the junction with Somerset Road and Forge Lane were not working from Wednesday, March 8 in the afternoon.

It was fixed just before 4.30pm on Thursday, March 9.

An engineer from Kent County Council was sent to the site.
