The driver of a pick-up truck fled after crashing into a police car.

At around 3.10pm yesterday, a black Mitsubishi L200 was asked to stop by officers before it hit a patrol vehicle in Forge Lane, Ashford.

The truck then drove away from the scene.

Officers are now appealing for information following the incident of dangerous driving.

They are asking for anyone who saw the crash, or the vehicle in the area around that time, to come forward.
