A two vehicle rush hour crash closed one lane of a busy A-road.

The collision happened on the A252 Faversham Road in Charing.

A van was involved and lost its front driver-side wheel.

Police were at the scene marshalling traffic close to the junction with Bowl Road until the road fully reopened shortly after 5pm.

No injuries were reported.
